1. About EAH Studios
EAH Studios is a registered and insured event entertainment provider serving customers across Ireland. Our services include Magic Mirror Photo Booths, 360 Video Booths, iPad Booths, event media services, photo/video sharing experiences and optional event add-ons.
In these Terms, “EAH Studios”, “we”, “our” and “us” refers to EAH Studios. “Customer”, “you” and “your” means the person, company, venue, organisation or event representative making the booking.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By submitting a booking request, accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, making a payment, approving an invoice or signing a service agreement, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If a booking is made on behalf of another person, company or organisation, the person making the booking confirms they have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that party.
3. Booking Confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until EAH Studios has checked availability, accepted the booking and received the required deposit or agreed payment. Until a booking is confirmed, the requested event date may remain available to other customers.
EAH Studios may refuse or cancel a booking before confirmation where there is a scheduling issue, venue risk, incorrect information, suspected fraud, non-payment, an inappropriate or unlawful event context, or another reasonable business or safety concern.
4. Booking Information
The customer must provide accurate details including name, phone number, email, event date, venue address, event type, access requirements, start and finish time and any special requirements. EAH Studios is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
5. Pricing and Quotations
All prices are shown in Euro (€). Pricing may depend on package type, service duration, event location, add-ons, travel, staffing, setup requirements and any custom work requested.
Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed price will not change unless the customer requests changes, adds upgrades, changes venue/date/time, requires extra hours, requests custom work or the original booking information was incorrect.
6. Deposit and Date Reservation
A deposit may be required to reserve an event date. The deposit secures availability, covers administration and preparation work and may prevent EAH Studios from accepting other bookings for the same date/time.
Deposits are generally non-refundable unless EAH Studios cancels the booking and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, subject always to applicable consumer rights.
7. Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid by the due date agreed on the invoice, booking confirmation or payment link. EAH Studios may refuse to attend or provide services where the balance is unpaid by the required time.
Where EAH Studios agrees to payment on the event day, payment must be made before service starts unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Online Payments and Stripe
Online card payments may be processed by Stripe. EAH Studios does not collect, view or store full card numbers, CVC codes or full card payment credentials. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own terms, security standards and privacy policy.
EAH Studios receives limited payment confirmation information needed to update the booking, invoice, receipt and accounting records.
9. Consumer Cooling-Off Rights
Where a consumer booking is made online, by phone or at a distance, Irish and EU consumer law may provide a 14-day cancellation period. Where the customer asks EAH Studios to begin work, reserve a specific event date, prepare customised materials or provide services within the cancellation period, the customer may be required to pay for work already performed or services already arranged.
Where a service has been fully performed with the customer’s prior request or consent, the right to cancel may no longer apply to that completed service. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Customer Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email. The cancellation date is the date EAH Studios receives the written cancellation.
- More than 60 days before the event: EAH Studios may, at its discretion, allow the deposit to be transferred to another available date within 12 months.
- 30 to 60 days before the event: The deposit is generally retained to cover date reservation and preparation.
- Less than 30 days before the event: Payments already made may be non-refundable because the event date, staff, equipment and preparation may already be committed.
11. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested in writing. EAH Studios will try to accommodate reasonable date changes, but cannot guarantee availability. Additional charges may apply for changed location, increased travel, extended hours, new equipment requirements or urgent changes.
12. Cancellation by EAH Studios
If EAH Studios cannot provide the service due to illness, accident, serious equipment failure, unsafe conditions, emergency, force majeure or circumstances outside reasonable control, EAH Studios will try to provide an alternative solution, replacement service, rescheduled date or refund of payments received for services not provided.
13. Force Majeure
EAH Studios is not liable for delay or non-performance caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, fire, power failure, venue closure, government restrictions, public health emergency, road closures, civil disturbance, internet outage, supplier failure or other unavoidable events.
14. Venue Access and Setup Requirements
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable venue access, parking/loading access, a level setup area, adequate space, safe electricity where required and protection from rain, wind or unsafe conditions.
If EAH Studios cannot safely set up due to venue restrictions, poor access, unsafe location, lack of power, insufficient space or weather exposure, EAH Studios may be unable to provide all or part of the service. Any refund or credit will be considered in light of the circumstances, work already completed and applicable consumer law.
15. Outdoor Events
Outdoor setup is only possible where conditions are safe and suitable. The customer must provide suitable cover, protection from rain/wind and a safe level surface. EAH Studios may refuse or stop outdoor operation where equipment, staff or guests may be at risk.
16. Guest Conduct and Staff Safety
The customer is responsible for guest behaviour around EAH Studios staff and equipment. EAH Studios may pause or stop the service where staff, guests or equipment are placed at risk, including through abuse, harassment, threats, violence, unsafe conduct, intoxicated misuse of equipment or repeated failure to follow reasonable instructions. Any refund or credit will depend on the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
17. Damage to Equipment
The customer may be responsible for repair or replacement costs where equipment is damaged due to negligence, misuse, deliberate damage, spillages, unsafe behaviour or failure to supervise guests. EAH Studios may invoice the customer for damage costs supported by reasonable evidence.
18. Service Time, Delays and Overtime
Service time begins at the agreed start time, unless delays are caused solely by EAH Studios. If access is delayed by the venue, customer, guests or other suppliers, EAH Studios may not be able to extend the finish time. Extra time is subject to availability and may be charged.
19. Photos, Videos and Digital Delivery
EAH Studios will use reasonable care to capture and deliver media from the event. However, technical issues, guest misuse, poor venue lighting, internet limitations, printer issues, device limitations or circumstances beyond our control may affect output. EAH Studios will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues where possible.
20. Media Permission and Marketing
EAH Studios will only use identifiable event photos or videos for its website, portfolio, social media or marketing where the customer has given clear permission in the booking form or signed contract. Permission is optional and is not required to receive the booked service.
The customer may choose “I agree” or “I do not agree” in the contract. Where permission is given, the customer confirms that they are responsible for informing their guests that event media may be used by EAH Studios. EAH Studios relies on the customer’s signed selection and does not separately ask every guest after the contract has been signed. Permission may be withdrawn for future use by contacting EAH Studios in writing, although material already lawfully published may not always be fully retrievable from third-party sharing or cached copies.
EAH Studios will not knowingly publish sensitive, inappropriate or misleading content.
21. Data Protection, Privacy and GDPR
EAH Studios processes personal data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, event details, booking records, payment and invoice information, customer communications and event media where necessary for booking administration, contract performance, service delivery, customer communication, legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention and protection of legal rights.
Personal data may be shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers such as payment processors, email providers, website hosting providers, accountants, legal advisers and suppliers involved in delivering the service or meeting legal obligations. EAH Studios does not store full card numbers or CVC codes.
Booking, invoice and accounting records may be retained for the period reasonably required for tax, legal and business obligations. Customers may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. Privacy requests may be sent to the EAH Studios information email shown on this website. Customers may also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
Further details are provided in the EAH Studios Privacy Policy.
22. Limitation of Liability
EAH Studios is responsible for providing services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EAH Studios is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or third-party claims.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or rights that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
23. Customer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer protection law. If any term is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining Terms continue to apply.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
